Sfeim Congress

We are pleased to welcome you to Strasbourg for the 2026 edition of the Sfeim Congress, an event dedicated to the appreciation of cellular metabolism in all its forms. Strasbourg, known as the fortress on the roads, is a city that serves as an intersection between France and Europe, making it a fitting location for our congress that aims to reflect the diverse specialties within the field. The congress will explore several cross-cutting themes, delving into genetics with a particular focus on X-linked metabolic diseases, hepatology, myology, functional explorations, neurodevelopment, and even the development of taste and oral skills. In an unexpected turn, the event will also touch upon architecture, showcasing the multifaceted nature of our discussions.Attendees can look forward to an update on the beta-oxidation of fatty acids, featuring insights from colleagues across the Rhine. Additionally, we will host traditional workshops covering a variety of topics, fostering rich and engaging multidisciplinary discussions among medical professionals, dietitians, psychologists, and others.
