About This Event
The European Conference on Modelling Foundations and Applications (ECMFA) is set to take place at the INRIA Center, University of Rennes, France. This prestigious event is part of the Software Technologies: Applications and Foundations (STAF) 2026 and serves as the premier European forum dedicated to enhancing the knowledge and application of Model-Based Engineering (MBE) and related approaches. The conference aims to engage key figures from both research and industry to foster dialogue that will lead to more effective applications of MBE, thereby producing more reliable software based on cutting-edge research results. The technical track of ECMFA invites high-quality submissions of original and unpublished research papers related to various aspects of MBE. Authors can submit their work under two primary categories: one focusing on modeling foundations, such as metamodeling, model transformations, and model validation; and the other on the applications of modeling techniques, including industrial case studies and experiences that have been implemented in real-world contexts. Notably, at least one of the authors must be affiliated with the organization where the application occurred. All submissions will undergo rigorous peer review by at least three members of the Program Committee, ensuring a high standard of research is presented at the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the Journal of Object Technology (JOT) upon registration, and contributions are encouraged to include artifacts that can enhance the understanding of the work presented.
