Annual Convention

The Annual Convention, organized by Fleuroselect, will take place in Philadelphia, the iconic garden capital of America, where attendees will have the opportunity to delve into the rich tradition of gardens and horticultural heritage. This event is a key gathering for industry professionals, allowing them to test and evaluate new pot and bedding plants, promote award winners, and network with peers from around the globe. The convention will feature the Gold Medal and Approved Novelty Trials, where Fleuroselect members can showcase their newest varieties. These entries will be assessed by expert judges who will evaluate them against existing varieties based on criteria such as innovation, practical use, floriferousness, and overall garden performance. In addition to the trials, the convention will also host the prestigious FleuroStar Contest, which celebrates varieties that stand out with a 'wow' factor. This annual contest occurs during the FlowerTrials in week 24 in the Netherlands and Germany, where over 30 industry experts will score the entries based on visual impact and commercial potential. The event promises to be a vibrant platform for showcasing the latest innovations in ornamental plants and for fostering collaborations within the horticultural community.
