About This Event
The event titled 'Manufacturing Process Development using PFMEA (Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, Part and Process Approval)' aims to provide a comprehensive two-day training experience. This program is organized by Omnex Inc. and will take place in Ann Arbor, United States. The training is designed for a variety of professionals including Manufacturing/Process Engineers, Production personnel, Product Design/Development Engineers, Quality Managers, Quality Engineers, Program Managers, Project Team Leaders, and other members involved in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) teams such as Purchasing, Logistics, Tool Designers, and Shop Floor Supervisors. The course will address essential elements of APQP, focusing on the planning and development of manufacturing systems and processes necessary for successful product launches and ongoing improvements. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, learning to construct Process Flow Diagrams and conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA). The training spans the entire lifecycle from planning and defining the program through to product validation and launch. Key topics include the relationship between Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, and Control Plans, methods for identifying special characteristics in manufacturing design, and strategies for prioritizing continual improvements using severity ratings. Each participant will receive a seminar manual and a workbook that includes exercises designed to reinforce the material covered. Note that Omnex does not provide copies of relevant standards during the training, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own copies for reference.
