About This Event
The International Conference on Production Research – Americas (ICPR-A) is a prestigious event organized by the International Foundation for Production Research (IFPR) that has been held biannually since 2002. This year, the 13th edition of ICPR-A will take place in Belem, Brazil, a vibrant city known as the Gateway to the Amazon and one of the oldest metropolitan areas in the country, founded in 1616. The conference aims to foster collaboration among researchers, academic institutions, and industry professionals, with a mission to strengthen connections across the Americas and engage early-career researchers in emerging topics within production research. The main theme for ICPR-A 2026 is Industry and Communities Co-Creating the Future. Participants will have the opportunity to delve into cutting-edge discussions on critical topics such as optimization, digital transformation, supply chain resilience, sustainable manufacturing, and the integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and Industry 5.0. Beyond the technical sessions, the conference provides a unique platform to expand professional networks while immersing attendees in the rich cultural experiences that Belem has to offer. While abstracts will not be published in the conference proceedings, participants can showcase their ongoing projects and gain valuable insights from fellow attendees.
