About This Event
The Electrical Control and Monitoring System (ECMS) course is a comprehensive program designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge in the field of electrical control and monitoring. This course focuses on a range of critical topics including the installation, operation, testing, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electric distribution system equipment such as transformers, inverters, rectifiers, uninterruptable power systems, generators, and more. Participants will delve into the intricacies of medium voltage AC drives, specifically the Rockwell Power Flex 7000, gaining hands-on experience that is vital for modern electrical systems.Additionally, the course covers essential aspects of system integrity, including corrosion management, inspection, maintenance, and safety management of pressure equipment. The curriculum also touches upon the use of fiber optics in transmission networks, addressing issues related to power system blackouts, restoration, and troubleshooting. Technical training in modern power system protective relaying, compressor control and protection, and understanding transients, surges, and faults in power systems is also included. Participants will learn the fundamentals of reading electrical drawings and diagrams, along with operations and troubleshooting of circuit breakers and switchgear. The course promises a robust learning experience, catering to the needs of professionals in the electrical engineering domain.
