About This Event
The seminar on Construction Project Management provides comprehensive training essential for the successful completion of construction projects. Participants will learn how to independently, confidently, effectively, and successfully manage a variety of construction projects. The curriculum covers crucial legal and contractual aspects, preparing attendees to handle challenging situations that may arise during a project and ensuring a smooth transition for project handovers to clients. Key topics include legally compliant practices regarding subcontractors and specialist firms, the clear definition of interfaces and responsibilities, and the planning, management, and control of construction projects focusing on aspects such as scheduling, costs, and quality assurance. Additionally, the seminar emphasizes the importance of thorough documentation during client handover and the effective leadership of project teams, along with construction site controlling techniques. The session will be led by Prof. Thomas Wedemeier, an expert in the field, who brings over 20 years of experience in both contractor and client-side roles within the construction industry and project management. This seminar can also be taken as an elective module within the VDI Certified Engineer for Sustainable Building and Renovation certificate course. The event will take place in Hannover, Germany.
