About This Event
The CBI: Complete Body Integration is an intensive educational course designed for physical therapy professionals who wish to deepen their understanding of functional movement patterns and total body integration. Participants will learn to evaluate functional efficiency through a structured approach that progresses from non-weight bearing to weight-bearing activities. The curriculum focuses on Functional Movement Patterns (FMPs) to identify mechanical restrictions and their impacts on overall body function. Attendees will engage in a comprehensive mechanical capacity assessment while developing confidence in observing and identifying regional interdependence within the body.Throughout the 2.5-day class, participants will utilize advanced techniques such as Functional Mobilization™, PNF, and CoreFirst® strategies to restore effective body integration and function. The course emphasizes the importance of adapting FMPs for home exercise programs, ensuring motor learning through repetition. Each attendee is required to complete pre-course preparation, which includes videos, quizzes, and articles, to ensure they are well-prepared for the demanding class structure. Additionally, all students must bring an illustrated anatomy book for reference. The course is approved for physical therapists in New York, Illinois, and California, with potential for reciprocity in other states. Discounts are available for students and first-year professionals. Participation in this course will equip attendees with essential skills for evaluation, assessment, and treatment, enhancing their professional practice in physical therapy.
