SOA Health Meeting

The SOA Health Meeting is a premier event that brings together the industry's leading actuaries, analysts, and professionals, providing a unique opportunity for networking, exploration, and discussion of the impacts of the latest marketplace factors and trends in health actuarial science. Set to take place in Chicago, this in-person gathering aims to elevate participants' presence in the actuarial community while driving continued innovation and growth. Attendees will have the chance to demonstrate their expertise to peers and colleagues across the healthcare industry, inspiring others and enhancing professional connections.To ensure the event caters to the diverse needs of the health actuarial community, a curated selection of five top session tracks has been developed. The planning committee is particularly interested in sessions that cover themes of professionalism and bias, and encourages submissions that can be structured as a series of two sessions. Each session must be educational and informative, representing various practice levels. For those interested in proposing a two-part series, it is encouraged to submit two proposals that clearly indicate part one and part two in their titles, showcasing a unified set of topics. Presenters are expected to come from a range of companies, with a minimum of two different organizations represented, to ensure a breadth of concepts and perspectives. Proposals featuring diverse presenters will receive priority during the review process. The session proposal submissions are due by January 12, 2026, and while submitting a proposal does not guarantee selection, it serves as an essential step toward contributing to the 2026 SOA Health Meetings program.
