This workshop focuses on the Ginger Jeans pattern from Closet Core Patterns, featuring a classic high-rise design tailored for fit across a diverse size range of 0-32 and hip measurements from 33 to 63. Participants have the option to choose between a stovepipe or skinny leg version, ensuring a personalized experience. Throughout the workshop, attendees will receive assistance in selecting the correct size and will cover essential fitting adjustments to achieve a professional look.The workshop spans two and a half days filled with hands-on learning, starting with an introductory half-day session where participants will choose their size and cut and mark their denim. Construction of the jeans will commence on Saturday and continue throughout the weekend, culminating in the creation of a new pair of jeans. The workshop provides all necessary materials, including denim, hardware, sewing machines, and supplies. Prior sewing experience is required; participants should be comfortable operating a sewing machine and should have previously sewn at least one garment pattern. This class is designed for intermediate sewers or adventurous beginners with some experience. Note that while basic fitting adjustments will be covered at the beginning, in-depth fitting techniques will not be included. If you are unable to attend, arrangements can be made to transfer your spot to another interested participant.
