IFIP International Symposium on Human Aspects of Information Security & Assurance

The IFIP International Symposium on Human Aspects of Information Security & Assurance is an esteemed event dedicated to exploring the human factors influencing information security and assurance practices. This symposium marks its 20th edition and will take place in Orebro, Sweden, under the auspices of Orebro University. The three-day event will showcase a variety of presentations delivered by leading researchers and industry practitioners from around the globe, fostering an environment of knowledge exchange and collaboration.The symposium has a rich history, having previously been hosted in various locations including Athens, South Africa, Kingston, Crete, Lisbon, Plymouth, Lesvos, Frankfurt, Adelaide, Dundee, Nicosia, Mytilene, Canterbury, Skovde, and Mytilene again in 2025. Notably, virtual events were held in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating the symposium's adaptability in the face of global challenges.
