About This Event

The event titled 'Mobility of the Future 2045' invites participants to embark on an interactive exploration of the future of transportation, focusing on e-mobility and autonomous driving. Set against the backdrop of Kronach, attendees will walk from the historical Rosenberg Fortress to the modern university campus, making stops at five significant stations that highlight various aspects of future mobility. This unique experience allows participants to engage not only with the physical journey but also with a conceptual journey through the years 2030 to 2045. By incorporating short presentations, the event encourages participants to experiment with future mobility plans and assess their viability in the face of potential unforeseen challenges. The event features Georg Arbeiter, who will provide exclusive insights into the 'Autonomous Driving' research project taking place at the Kronach campus. Additionally, the Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (f-bb) will contribute valuable insights into the skills that will be necessary in the future mobility landscape. This collaborative and interactive dialogue format is inspired by the traveling exhibition 'Future II – Mobility 2050 in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region – How We Will Have Made It.' Participants are encouraged to actively shape the future of transportation by engaging in discussions that aim to further develop innovative ideas for tomorrow’s mobility.
