The Education Research Days 2026 (ORD 2026) will be held at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht, Netherlands, on July 1, 2, and 3. This event is set to be the largest education research conference in the Netherlands and Flanders, drawing hundreds of education researchers who will delve into the critical role of education in addressing significant social challenges, such as polarization, climate change, labor market shortages, affordable healthcare, and digitization. The conference aims to explore how education can contribute positively to society, particularly during this period of transition. It will emphasize the importance of teaching future professionals to innovate and develop solutions that address these pressing issues throughout their careers.The ORD 2026 will include diverse perspectives on education, covering various stages from early childhood to lifelong learning for citizens and professionals. Participants will engage in cross-border learning and discussions, reflecting on the necessity of collaboration among educational researchers from different backgrounds and methodologies. The conference will offer an inspiring mix of presentations and sessions on contemporary educational topics, alongside ample networking opportunities. The event is organized in collaboration with several esteemed institutions, including the Utrecht School of the Arts, Marnix Academy, MBO Amersfoort, MBO Utrecht, ROC Midden Nederland, UMC Utrecht, University of Humanistic Studies, and Utrecht University, alongside the Flemish Forum for Educational Research. This edition marks the first time the ORD will be hosted at a university of applied sciences, promising a unique and enriching experience for all attendees.
