SaigonTex, the Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition, is the most influential textile and garment industry exhibition in ASEAN countries. It primarily showcases various technologies, machinery, and accessories for the garment industry. Due to anticipated US import tariffs on various Chinese products (including apparel), orders are expected to gradually shift to other Asian countries. Therefore, Vietnam will need to import more fabrics and garment accessories to meet its growing order demands. As the only UFI-approved textile and garment industry exhibition, the event aims to provide a one-stop sourcing platform for buyers from Vietnam and neighboring countries. The previous SaigonTex exhibition covered a total area of 35,000 square meters, with 1,350 exhibitors from countries including China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Pakistan, and Turkey, attracting 36,400 visitors. In recent years, Vietnam's textile and garment industry has continuously absorbed significant domestic and international investments, covering the entire industry chain, to embrace new opportunities brought by free trade agreements.
