Bologna Childrens Book Fair

The Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF), founded in 1964, is one of the most important exhibitions in the world for children's books and multimedia. Organized by the Bologna Group in Italy, it showcases various types of books, book-related products, and related enterprises. China has organized multiple events to accelerate the 'going global' of Chinese children's books. China was invited to be the first 'Market Focus Country' at this year's Bologna Children's Book Fair. It is understood that China is the only 'Market Focus Country' at this book fair, with an expanded booth space, increased number of exhibitors, and will host China market focus activities during its participation. Over 60 key Chinese publishing groups, children's publishers, and printing enterprises are exhibiting, showcasing the achievements of China's children's publishing industry through a series of activities including exquisite book exhibitions, author dialogues, and printing product promotions, actively promoting Chinese children's books to the world. The Chinese book exhibition area features over 2,500 children's books, prominently displaying masterpieces such as 'Chinese Pioneer Figures Story Collection,' 'Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture Children's Picture Book Series,' as well as original children's literature, picture books, and popular science readings like 'The Three-Body Problem Comics' and 'Bronze Sunflower.' Using books as a medium to tell Chinese stories and promote understanding of contemporary China among readers, especially young people, to build a global community with a shared future.
