SIMTOS, the Korea Seoul Machine Tool Exhibition, is one of the most renowned and professional machine tool exhibitions in Asia. Organized by the Korea Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association and strongly supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT, Gyeonggi Province, Korea Federation of SMEs, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Korea International Trade Association, it was founded in 1984 and is a representative exhibition of Korea's capital goods industry. It has consistently been selected as a 'Brand Exhibition' by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and a 'Promising Growth Exhibition' by Gyeonggi Province. Held biennially in Korea, it is a representative exhibition of Korea's capital goods industry. As the only internationally renowned machine tool exhibition in Korea, SIMTOS leads the development trends of the global machine tool industry. Its scale has surpassed that of JIMTOF, one of the traditional top four machine tool exhibitions in Japan. The previous SIMTOS, the Korea Seoul Machine Tool Exhibition, covered a total area of 65,000 square meters, with 1,130 exhibitors from countries including China, Taiwan, Japan, Italy, Germany, the UK, Russia, Spain, Thailand, and Singapore, attracting 98,587 visitors. South Korea is an emerging capitalist country and a founding member of APEC, the World Trade Organization, and the East Asia Summit, as well as a member of important international organizations such as the OECD, G20, and the United Nations. Korea has excellent logistics conditions in Northeast Asia, and China's automation equipment products have a certain international reputation in terms of both quality and price, enjoying good market prospects in Korea.
