LEDucation, hosted by the Designers Lighting Forum of New York, is the ultimate marketplace for solid-state lighting innovation, providing industry professionals with the opportunity to experience new technologies and continue their education through various accredited workshops. LEDucation is a non-profit event, and its proceeds help stimulate future LED advancements by supporting various grants, scholarships, and lighting programs. The Designers Lighting Forum of New York is dedicated to exploring and showcasing the power of lighting in design. Founded in 1934, the Designers Lighting Forum is a non-profit organization led by an all-volunteer board of managers and sustained by membership dues and the generous support of corporate sponsors. They passionately provide designers, architects, manufacturers and their representatives, contractors, educators, and students with opportunities to meet and experience the wonders of lighting in New York City and beyond. DLFNY also supports formal lighting education through contributions to local universities and design schools, as well as national funds.
