SAMOTER, the International Construction Machinery and Aerial Work Platform Exhibition in Verona, Italy, is a renowned exhibition in the European earthmoving and construction machinery industry. Organized by Verona Exhibition Group, founded in 1989, the organizer primarily focuses on agriculture and equipment manufacturing and has now become one of the three major construction machinery exhibitions in Europe. The last SAMOTER exhibition covered a total area of 118,000 square meters, with 909 exhibitors from countries including China, Germany, France, the UK, Russia, the Czech Republic, Spain, Brazil, and India. The number of visitors reached 98,048. Some internationally renowned leading enterprises participated, such as Mercedes-Benz, DAF, and JCB. The exhibition hosted multiple global forums, conferences, etc., providing exhibitors and experts with face-to-face communication opportunities and creating trade opportunities for industry professionals to expand into international markets. Foreign trade is a major pillar of the Italian economy, with foreign trade output accounting for over 40% of Italy's GDP. Various personal consumer goods, machinery and equipment, and capital goods hold very important positions in the world market.
