Brussels European Defence Exhibition & Conference

The Brussels European Defence Exhibition & Conference (EBS) is set to address critical issues surrounding Europe’s defence and security strategy as it transitions into a period defined by tangible execution rather than mere political commitments. As Europe navigates 2026, the focus is on transforming strategic intents into operational capabilities, reflecting a significant shift towards readiness and resilience in an increasingly volatile global landscape. This conference will convene key stakeholders to discuss the implications of the White Paper on European Defence and the Defence Readiness Roadmap 2030, alongside initiatives such as the European Defence Industrial Strategy, EDIP, and the ReArm Europe Plan. The urgency of these discussions is underscored by the current security environment characterized by hybrid threats and geopolitical tensions, particularly in regions like the Arctic. The event serves as a vital platform for European institutions to highlight their priorities and foster legislative advancements through collaborative dialogues among various actors. Participants will include influential organizations such as the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) and the European Telecommunications Network Operators’ Association (ETNO), alongside representatives from the External Affairs Ministry of India, the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Benin. The involvement of international missions, including Canada and China to the EU, further emphasizes the summit's global relevance. As transatlantic cooperation remains pivotal, the conference aims to position readiness, governance, and industrial execution at the forefront of Europe’s security trajectory leading to 2030, ensuring that the continent can act decisively in the face of emerging challenges.
