Introduction
The International Summer Schools on Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics & Nanomedicine (ISSON) is a prestigious summer school dedicated to educating young researchers and early-career scientists and engineers in pioneering fields. The program delves into fundamental principles, innovative concepts, and diverse applications across thematic areas such as Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics, Nanomedicine, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation, and 3D Printing. Esteemed experts from universities, research institutions, and industries deliver high-quality lectures in plenary and parallel sessions, with a focus on current trends and advances in these fields. Specifically, attendees can engage in three complementary schools focusing on Nanosciences, Organic Electronics, and Nanomedicine, while also learning about state-of-the-art fabrication and characterization techniques.ISSON not only offers a myriad of lectures but also provides a platform for participants to showcase their research during the Special Poster Session. This session allows all attendees to present their current research to peers, the ISSON Committee, and lecturers, with the opportunity to compete for a Poster Award. Beyond lectures, the program encourages interaction with leading scientists and industry experts across various disciplines, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to nanotechnology. Participants can also attend connected conferences such as ISFOE26, NN26, and the newly added AI3D26, which feature workshops, special sessions, and exhibitions. The event encourages attendees to discuss their research face-to-face with experienced researchers, enhancing professional networks for future career opportunities. Additionally, the program promises a social atmosphere, allowing participants to enjoy Thessaloniki and Halkidiki, renowned resort areas in Greece, enriching their overall experience. The vision of ISSON is to serve as a gateway for high-tech innovations emerging from passionate young researchers, providing a comprehensive learning experience from July 4 to July 11, 2026, at the Porto Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece.
