Introduction
One of Germany's largest brake technology exhibitions.
EURO BRAKE, the European Brake Exhibition, was established in 2012 to address the profound changes in the needs of customers and end-users in the braking industry, providing a platform for companies, engineers, and scholars working in brake technology to exchange ideas.
Large Scale: After 6 years of development, this exhibition has become one of the world's largest professional exhibitions for brake technology. In 2018, it attracted over 1,100 professionals, showcased more than 140 technical projects, and featured over 100 international exhibitors. EURO BRAKE attracts engineers, scientists, scholars, and executives from the passenger car, commercial vehicle, railway, and broader industrial sectors.
High Level of Innovation: The participants in the 2018 exhibition represented companies with the most leading-edge technologies in the braking industry, as well as relevant professionals. Over 140 technical projects were showcased on-site, all demonstrating novel technologies in the braking industry.
Exhibit Scope
The exhibit range of EUROBRAKE, the German European Brake Exhibition, is extensive, comprehensively covering all aspects of brake technology. Core exhibits include various brake system assemblies and their key components, such as disc brakes, drum brakes, brake calipers, brake discs, brake shoes, brake hoses, and various hydraulic and pneumatic components. In terms of braking materials, the exhibition brings together leading global suppliers, showcasing various friction materials for brake pads and brake shoes, including semi-metallic, low-metallic, ceramic, and organic non-asbestos formulations, as well as powder metallurgy products, special graphite, silicon carbide, polymers, and various additives used in their manufacture. In addition, the exhibition highlights manufacturing and processing technologies related to braking systems, including surface treatment, coating technology, heat treatment processes, and related production equipment. Testing and diagnostic equipment also form a crucial part of the exhibition, covering everything from dynamometer test systems, vehicle testing equipment, to various sensors and data acquisition systems for Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) analysis. With the automotive industry's transition towards electrification and intelligence, the exhibit range also extends to brake-by-wire systems, regenerative braking systems, and intelligent braking solutions integrated with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).
