Introduction
The MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL GIFT AND PREMIUM EXHIBITION (MIGP), since its inception in 2009, has grown to become the largest and most influential gift industry event in Southeast Asia. This exhibition has not only been recognized by The Malaysia Book of Records but also included in The ASEAN Book of Records, highlighting its leading position in the region. MIGP is held annually at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, providing a stable and efficient platform for industry exchange and trade with its annual frequency. Although MIGP's single exhibition area may be less than 10,000 square meters, it has shown remarkable growth and strong market influence in terms of exhibitor numbers, buyer quality, and trade turnover. For example, in the 2025 exhibition, MIGP generated over RM 35 million in trade transactions, attracted 14,623 professional buyers and visitors, and gathered 147 exhibitors with a total of 301 booths. These figures fully demonstrate MIGP's important role in promoting the development of the regional gift industry. Looking ahead to 2026, MIGP will adopt the theme "Redefining Sustainable Gifting for a Brighter Tomorrow," and is expected to attract over 16,000 attendees, expanding its exhibition area to four full halls. It aims to integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into the core of the exhibition, advocating for circular economy models, eco-friendly design, and sustainable supply chains. This not only reflects the exhibition's deep insight into future industry trends but also provides an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their innovative and sustainable products. MIGP is committed to helping exhibitors enhance brand awareness, acquire valuable potential customers, and establish long-term partnerships with ideal buyers. The exhibition annually attracts a large number of exhibitors and buyers who choose to return, fully demonstrating its outstanding effectiveness in facilitating business cooperation and market expansion. For companies looking to launch the latest innovative products, strengthen partnerships, or enter the booming ASEAN gift market, MIGP is undoubtedly the ultimate gateway to success. It is not just a platform for display and procurement, but also an industry event that collectively shapes a purposeful, profitable, and sustainable future.
