Introduction
Exhibition Scale: 10000-20000 FENAF, the Brazil Sao Paulo International Foundry and Metallurgy Exhibition, is Brazil's most important foundry industry exhibition. Held every two years, it has successfully completed 16 editions, attracting excellent enterprises from around the world, with the United States, Germany, Italy, and Japan participating as national pavilions. Brazil, as a major iron ore producer in the world, has unique conditions for the development of its foundry industry. As the world's seventh-largest producer of castings, its output exceeds that of European countries such as Spain, France, and Italy. The exhibition venue, São Paulo state, is Brazil's most developed state, gathering 53% of the country's foundry enterprises. We sincerely invite you to participate in this exhibition and look forward to exploring the market and reaping business opportunities with you! Brazilian Economic Environment As the largest market in the Southern Hemisphere and the tenth-largest economy in the world, Brazil attracts foreign investment second only to China annually, ranking second among developing countries. Brazil ranks fifth in the world in land area and fifth in population, with strong辐射能力 to surrounding countries and regions. According to the latest statistics from Brazil's Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, from January to August 2011, bilateral trade between Brazil and China reached 50 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 41.2%. China is Brazil's largest trading partner, its largest export destination, and its second-largest source of imports. Brazilian Foundry Industry Brazil's vast territory and rich resources provide preconditions for the development of the foundry industry. The country is a world-renowned exporter of pig iron, aluminum, and ferroalloy materials. According to 1991 statistics, Brazil's foundry industry had a total output of 1.4 million tons and total sales of foundry products of 2.4 billion US dollars, ranking 8th in the world. Brazil has 1,000 foundries, employing 60,000 foundry workers. The output of castings is approximately 2.2 to 2.5 million tons, and the Brazilian casting market is worth in-depth development by domestic customers.
