The Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA) brings together experts from various disciplines to discuss, plan, and propose solutions for a sustainable water future in the region. Water is one of the biggest challenges facing South Africa and its neighbors, making it imperative for government, stakeholders, partners, and public participants to work together to find innovative water resource management approaches to ensure a sustainable and robust water supply for a growing urban population. Effective water management is only possible by considering interconnected factors and needs. WISA is proud to be an organization that champions this mission. With over 80 years since WISA's establishment in 1937, we are proud to have continuously grown into the reputable institution we are today. The exhibition will focus on how to solve the increasing water scarcity in Africa, strongly inviting professional buyers, industry experts, agents, and distributors from across South Africa and the African region to visit and negotiate purchases, hoping to build a suitable investment platform between buyers and sellers, while also introducing professional international technologies. WISA members continuously strive to find effective and efficient ways to provide quality water services for everyone. This means conducting necessary research, learning from our water resource history, and ensuring the necessary human capital is in place to take action for the changes required to achieve our water goals. We realize that we have a responsibility to collaborate on innovative and appropriate solutions that will make prosperous cities livable for decades to come. With the participation of other Southern African countries, we meet biannually, bringing together key players in the water sector. This is an exciting field, and we have further expanded our goals to promote the science and practice of water management and good corporate governance. WISA values integrity, professionalism, community, transparency, and innovation. We aim to lead in strengthening strategic partnerships within the industry while playing an active role in encouraging robust water discussions in the public sphere.
