Kazakhstan Building Materials Exhibition (KazBuild) is the most influential exhibition for building materials and interior decoration in Central Asia. It is organized by ITE Group, the world's second-largest exhibition company. The exhibition is certified by the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) and the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), and receives strong official support from Kazakhstan, including the Kazakhstan Construction Committee and Almaty City Hall. The previous KazBuild exhibition covered a total area of 16,000 square meters, with 322 exhibitors from China, Japan, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Russia, Poland, Dubai, Turkey, India, the UK, and other countries, attracting 14,900 visitors. Currently, the construction materials market in Kazakhstan is still in its nascent stage, primarily featuring mid-to-low-end products, most of which are imported. Retail prices for building materials are very high; for example, sanitary ware and floor tiles are on average 2 to 4 times more expensive than similar products from China. Due to their high quality and competitive prices, Chinese building materials perfectly meet the market needs of Kazakhstan, making them the preferred choice for the country's construction materials market. At the same time, Kazakhstan also hopes for and encourages capable Chinese enterprises to invest and set up factories locally.
