FOTOMERCATO

The FOTOMERCATO in Pordenone, Italy, is an important annual event in the Italian and European photography scene. This exhibition has a long history, and since its inception, it has been dedicated to promoting the development of photographic art and technology, providing a platform for exchange, display, and trade for photography enthusiasts, professionals, and industry enterprises. FOTOMERCATO is usually organized by local exhibition bodies or photography associations, aiming to bring together the latest photographic equipment, technologies, and artworks. Although the exhibition scale is primarily "less than 10,000" square meters, its professionalism and influence are not to be underestimated. Each year, the exhibition attracts numerous exhibitors from Italy and neighboring countries, including renowned photographic equipment manufacturers, independent photographers, galleries, and publishers. The audience is wide-ranging, including professional photographers, curators, collectors, as well as a large number of photography enthusiasts and students. The exhibition is not only a venue for new product launches and business negotiations but also a cultural feast full of artistic atmosphere. It is particularly worth mentioning that FOTOMERCATO plans multiple themed photography exhibitions each year, and this year will again feature numerous photography exhibitions, each with its own dedicated area in Hall 8. The "FULL PLATE" exhibition, curated by Giancarlo Coppola, showcasing antique and modern large and ultra-large bellows cameras brought by their owners, is a major highlight of the exhibition, demonstrating its dual focus on photographic history and innovation. FOTOMERCATO holds an important position in the Italian photography industry, serving as an excellent platform for understanding industry trends, expanding business opportunities, and appreciating photographic art.
