International Trade Show for Gastronomy

Exhibition size: less than 10,000. A world-renowned culinary event! In 1972, the Vatel Club Luxembourg organized the first exhibition of gastronomy, culinary arts, and pastry at the European Parliament Casino. Since then, the event has been held every four years: first in Luxembourg City, and since 1978 at the Luxexpo The Box International Exhibition Center in Kirchberg, Luxembourg, under the name EXPOGAST. Since 1986, the Vatel Club has hosted the Culinary World Cup, one of the largest and most important culinary competitions in the world, enjoying international prestige. EXPOGAST is a grand event in many respects: it is a meeting point for the most talented chefs from five continents, a trade fair for culinary professionals, and at the same time, an event focused on food and beverages for the general public, as well as a world-class international culinary competition.

The Luxembourg International Food Exhibition (Expogast) is a comprehensive trade fair focused on gastronomy and culinary arts. Based on the list of exhibitors from the 2022 show on its official website, the range of exhibits can be categorized into the following core areas: 1. **Food and Beverages**: This is the core of the exhibition, covering a variety of processed and unprocessed foods. Specifically, it may include: food processing machinery, packaging equipment, refrigeration and freezing equipment, cleaning and sanitation equipment, etc. 5. **Technology and Hygiene**: With increasing emphasis on food safety and efficiency, this area has also become an important component of the exhibition. Exhibits may include: innovative food production technologies, food safety testing equipment, and hygiene solutions and products that comply with international standards.
