Introduction
Exhibition Scale: Less than 10,000 sqm. Geologists' hammers and chisels are always in our holiday luggage. Whether quartz, calcite or ore, the Pfundt family started collecting minerals more than 50 years ago. Sites exist in dumps or open-pit mines in Germany, such as the Harz Mountains, Fichtel Mountains, Black Forest, and Hunsrück. But other destinations such as Elba, Sardinia, and Corsica also offer natural stone treasures. Amethyst, crystal, agate or rose quartz, the collection grew continuously, almost forming a small 'mine'. In addition to our own collecting activities, foreign mineral exchanges were also visited. The idea of organizing such a sales exhibition/trade fair in Berlin was put into practice in 1975, when the Congress Hall in Berlin-Tiergarten was rented. After its closure in 1980, the Berlin Mineral, Fossil and Jewellery Exchange moved to the exhibition halls under the radio tower. The exhibition was organized by Doris Pfundt with the support of all family members. MINERALIS was last managed by 'Berlin Miners' in November 2025. After 50 years, the organization will be transferred to 'Berlin Exhibitions GmbH' in 2026. Following the transfer, the MINERALIS website will be closed.
