ISPO BIKE

Exhibition Scale: 20000-50000. The Munich International Bicycle Exhibition is organized by Messe München. After 10 years of research and market surveys, industry insiders unanimously agree that the leading products in the bicycle industry are increasingly moving towards a development direction closer to public life. Electric bicycles, city bikes, family bikes, and bicycle leisure tourism will increasingly become the industry's focus. The German Bicycle Retailers Association (ZEG) continues to organize its member companies to participate, applying for over 6000 square meters of exhibition space, and also participating in various activities at the exhibition site. The Munich city government organized events such as the 'Around Munich City Cycling Race' during the exhibition. Electric bicycles (E-Bikes) and electric-assist bicycles (Pedelecs) once again became the focus of this year's exhibition, considered the biggest drivers of growth in the bicycle industry, with a rich variety of new models and power systems being particularly eye-catching. The Extra Energy test track became a popular area for attracting visitors. In addition, technical training, demonstrations, and forums also provided valuable information for all attendees. Success means development, and this also applies to the increasingly popular new exhibition – BIKE EXPO. BIKEEXPO presented a spectacular exhibition to its audience and subsequently officially joined ISPO, the Munich Winter International Sports Equipment and Sports Fashion Exhibition. The number of BIKEEXPO attendees increased by 14%; at the same time, 301 international exhibitors launched their innovative products, an increase of 17% compared to the previous edition. The enthusiasm of exhibitors mainly stemmed from the widespread attention from retailers and the lively and effective business atmosphere at the exhibition. In 2012, BIKE EXPO was officially renamed ISPO BIKE, the Munich International Bicycle Exhibition, and its exhibition dates were moved forward. The globally renowned ISPO has a history of 40 years and has become a global business network for the sports industry. ISPO unites industry professionals from around the world, providing innovative services to customers, promoting the development of the sports industry, and leading the trends of the entire industry. To better realize the value of the business network, we decided to integrate all exhibitions and services under the ISPO brand. This integration and renaming initiative will strengthen publicity for customers and bring more business opportunities.
