The event was grand in scale, attracting a total of 263 exhibitors and 7,300 visitors and conference delegates. The exhibition was not only a platform for showcasing products and technologies but also a vibrant center for industry thought exchange. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on core issues such as the latest technologies in biogas and biomethane, policy environments, market opportunities, and sustainable operations. Concurrent events, such as the European Renewable Gas Training Centre Masterclass, further enhanced the professional depth and industry influence of the event. The Kassel International Biogas Fair in Germany focuses on the entire value chain of biogas production and utilization, as well as related decentralized energy technologies. The exhibition scope is broad, covering the entire process from raw material pretreatment, fermentation, gas purification to final utilization. Core exhibition areas include various fermenters, stirring equipment, pumps, biogas separation and purification equipment, desulfurization and decarburization technologies, and biogas analysis and monitoring systems. At the same time, the exhibition also focuses on the utilization technology of fermentation residues, such as solid-liquid separation and fertilization treatment. As an important method of biogas utilization, combined heat and power (CHP) technology is another major focus of the exhibition, showcasing various gas internal combustion engines, gas turbines, micro gas turbines, and their supporting control systems and waste heat recovery equipment. In addition to biogas, the exhibition also covers other forms of biomass energy utilization, including combustion technologies and equipment for solid biomass fuels such as wood chips and pellets. In line with the development trend of integrated energy systems, photovoltaic and energy storage technologies have also become an important part of the exhibition, displaying photovoltaic modules, inverters, mounting systems, and batteries and other energy storage solutions. In addition, the exhibition also brings together many service providers, offering comprehensive services such as project planning and design, financing and insurance, operation and management, policy and regulatory consulting, and technical training.
