The Essen Motor Show in Germany is recognized as one of the world's three major tuning shows, alongside the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, USA, and the Tokyo Auto Salon in Japan. The Essen Motor Show showcases products and innovations in performance and racing, tuning and lifestyle, motorsports, and classic cars. On the occasion of the Essen Motor Show, consulting firm BBE Automotive, together with partners such as the Association of Automobile Tuners, presented a recent study report on the tuning market. The results show that the German tuning market is dominated by BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, and Mercedes-Benz models. The study also revealed that the industry's size in Germany alone exceeds 2 billion euros, with tires, wheels, and chassis parts accounting for the largest share. "The fascination with tuned cars has never diminished, and this year's Essen Motor Show is no exception. Our open technology is completely on the right track," said Harald Schmidtke, Managing Director of the German Automobile Tuners Association. "I am delighted to see so many exhibitors and visitors, and according to the exhibitors, the visitors' purchasing interest is also very strong."
