This year, ALTA has added an American conference—ALTA Americas. ALTA conferences are known for providing exclusive opportunities to share ideas and build new connections. This year, ALTA Americas will be held concurrently with the Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC). The carefully designed agenda themes across both conferences reflect the current and developing critical technological trends in this important segment of the battery value chain. ALTA was founded by metallurgical consultant Alan Taylor in 1985 to serve the global mining, mineral, and metallurgical industries. Alan has over 40 years of experience in the metallurgy, mineral, and chemical processing industries and continues to be involved in various aspects of the conference. ALTA was acquired by Cambridge Innovation Institute and joined the Cambridge EnerTech division in 2024.
