For many years, the International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber – interplastica – has been a unique tool for business development in the polymer industry. The Russian International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition (INTERPLASTICA) is co-organized by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its Russian subsidiary, Messe Düsseldorf Moscow, held annually. This exhibition is part of the Interpack series of exhibitions. On one exhibition platform, two themes are simultaneously presented: the packaging industry (UPAKOVKA) and the plastics and rubber industry (INTERPLASTICA); the plastics and rubber theme is considered Russia's largest and most professional plastics exhibition. INTERPLASTICA 2019 had a net area of 12,000 square meters, with over 800 companies from 33 countries and regions participating. 24,900 visitors from Russia and neighboring countries attended this Russian plastics exhibition and the concurrently held Russian packaging exhibition, an increase of 2,100 from the previous year. As a professional trade fair, the new hall allocation scheme provides a clearer classification for the products and services on display, while also ensuring technical proximity and thematic relevance. Mechanical engineers, raw material producers, plastic and rubber product manufacturers, logistics companies, and service providers all showcased their respective product ranges. Official organizations from Germany, Italy, China, Australia, Taiwan, France, and Portugal participated in this exhibition.
