Exhibition Scale: less than 10,000. GrindTec, the German Augsburg Abrasives and Technology Exhibition, is the largest and most professional international exhibition for grinding equipment and technology. It is organized by AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH and co-organized by the German Professional Association for Precision Grinding. Founded in 1998, it is held biennially in Augsburg, Germany, and has become a renowned professional exhibition in the international grinding technology industry, as well as the most authoritative and important forum for the European grinding industry every two years. In 2018, 600 companies from 30 countries participated, an increase of 10% from the previous edition, covering an exhibition area of 45,000 square meters, an increase of 18% from the previous edition. 19,100 visitors from over 60 countries attended, an increase of 13% from the previous edition, with 31% from outside Germany.
