Exhibition Scale: 10,000-20,000 Since 1990, the Association of Estonian Travel Companies has annually announced the best tourist destinations, and since 1992, the best tourism promoters, to raise public awareness of the important components of the tourism industry in the Republic of Estonia and to express public appreciation for successful projects implemented in tourism and specific individuals. Applicants for the Best Destination honorary title must have high visibility, prestige in the tourism market, and ensure impeccable customer service. The selection is also influenced by factors such as the novelty and originality of the service (product), good marketing, and qualitative leaps in improving service levels. When making a choice, the professionalism of communication with Estonian tourism companies, based on international practices, is very important. The recipients of the Best Promoter honorary title are individuals who directly deal with tourism business issues at a practical or theoretical level, work in tourism infrastructure companies, or engage in tourism-related teaching. This person must have a significant positive impact on the development of the tourism industry through their activities in Estonia or abroad, and they must have personal recognition, authority, and an impeccable reputation within the Estonian tourism community. This selection is also based on the successful launch and realization of new projects. The best tourist destinations and promoters of the year are officially announced by the ETFL Chairman at the traditional annual tourism fair, Tourest, and published in the media. ETFL will award corresponding certificates to the best tourist destinations and promoters of the year.

Tourism destinations and attractions, hotels and accommodation services, airlines and transportation services, travel agencies and tour operators, cruise and yacht tourism, customized and adventure tourism, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE), medical tourism and wellness retreats, cultural tourism and heritage sites, eco-tourism and rural tourism, winter sports and ski resorts, festivals and theme parks, tourism technology and solutions (booking systems, payment platforms, etc.), travel insurance and financial services, tourism publications and media, tourism education and training, tourism souvenirs and handicrafts, outdoor sports and leisure equipment, catering services and local cuisine, tourism investment and development projects.
