The ACHEMA German Biochemical Technology Exhibition, established in 1920, is the world's largest and most influential biochemical technology exhibition. One of the biggest highlights of the exhibition was that China, with a total net exhibition area of 4,937 square meters, became the second-largest exhibiting country after Germany for the first time, an increase of over 50% compared to the previous edition. The most significant growth came from the pharmaceutical, packaging, and storage technology industries, while the number of exhibitors from the laboratory and analytical technology industry saw the largest increase. ACHEMA's increasing influence has led to a growing number of Chinese companies participating in this top global process industry summit, showcasing the strength of Chinese manufacturing. The inevitable trend of higher automation levels and diversified user needs in the process industry, as required by ACHEMA, also made the instrumentation, control, and automation exhibition group particularly noteworthy.
