DANFISH INTERNATIONAL

DanFish International is one of the most important professional exhibitions in the global fishing and maritime industry, held biennially in Aalborg, Denmark, since 1974. Initially named "The Fishermen's Own Exhibition," it was rebranded DanFish International in 1996 to highlight its growing international influence. To date, the exhibition has become a crucial hub bringing together fishing and maritime professionals from around the world, attracting approximately 400 exhibitors from about 30 countries and over 12,000 professional visitors from 50 countries. The exhibition is not only a platform for showcasing the latest fishing technologies, equipment, and services but also a unique networking forum that promotes industry exchange, builds business connections, and explores market opportunities. The 2025 exhibition will once again welcome the return of the aquaculture exhibition area, DanAqua, and will concurrently host the Nordic Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) Conference, further enriching the exhibition content and highlighting its key role in promoting the sustainable development of fisheries and aquaculture.

The exhibition scope of DanFish International is extensive, comprehensively covering all aspects of the fishing, aquaculture, and maritime sectors. Core exhibits include various fishing gear, such as fishing nets, trawls, ropes, and lines. In terms of vessel equipment, the exhibition brings together the latest marine engines, propulsion systems, deck machinery, and advanced electronic navigation and communication equipment. In addition, exhibits cover seafood processing and handling technologies, including freezing, refrigeration, packaging equipment, and preservation techniques. With the rise of the aquaculture industry, the DanAqua exhibition area will focus on showcasing recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), water treatment technologies, feed and nutrition solutions, disease prevention and control, and innovative solutions for fish and shellfish farming. At the same time, the exhibition also targets the broader maritime industry, displaying various equipment and services applicable to wind farm/offshore vessels, ferries, cruise ships, rescue vessels, cargo ships, tankers, tugboats, and salvage vessels, and involving related fields such as port logistics.
