UMEX

The 2028 UMEX Unmanned Systems Exhibition in the UAE (Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference) is the premier professional event for unmanned systems in the Middle East and North Africa, held biennially on Khaleej Al Arabi Street in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Since its inception, UMEX has rapidly grown to become an important platform for technological exchange, business cooperation, and strategic dialogue in the global unmanned systems sector. The exhibition scale has expanded with each edition, attracting government agencies, military departments, research institutions, industry leaders, and innovative enterprises from around the world as exhibitors and visitors. UMEX not only showcases cutting-edge drone technology and solutions but also covers various unmanned systems such as Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV), Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV), and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUV), as well as related supporting industries like control systems, communication technologies, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics. Through high-level conferences, technical demonstrations, and live flight performances, the exhibition provides an excellent platform for exhibitors and visitors to gain in-depth understanding of industry trends and explore business opportunities. Its influence has extended beyond the regional scope, becoming a key stop for upstream and downstream enterprises in the global unmanned systems industry seeking cooperation, launching new products, and enhancing brand image. UMEX is committed to promoting the innovative application and development of unmanned systems in defense, security, civilian, and other fields, and holds profound significance for facilitating international technological exchange and cooperation.

The exhibit range of the 2028 UMEX Unmanned Systems Exhibition in the UAE is extremely broad, covering all aspects of unmanned systems and related technologies. Main exhibit categories include: various unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems, such as fixed-wing UAVs, rotary-wing UAVs (multi-rotor, helicopter), vertical take-off and landing UAVs, solar-powered UAVs, tethered UAVs, micro-UAVs, etc., applied in reconnaissance, surveillance, mapping, agriculture, logistics, emergency rescue, environmental monitoring, film and television aerial photography, and other fields. Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV), including tracked, wheeled, and bio-inspired unmanned vehicles, used for reconnaissance, explosive ordnance disposal, patrolling, transportation, and operations. Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV) and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUV), applied in marine exploration, underwater operations, hydrological surveying, water area security, etc. In addition, exhibits also include core components and supporting technologies for unmanned systems, such as high-performance engines, batteries, fuel cells, flight control systems, navigation and positioning systems (GPS/Beidou/GLONASS), inertial navigation systems, communication links (satellite communication, data links), sensors (visible light, infrared, thermal imaging, multispectral, hyperspectral, lidar, synthetic aperture radar), mission payloads (cameras, pods, detectors, robotic arms), ground control stations, image processing and analysis software, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, big data processing and storage solutions, cybersecurity technologies, anti-drone systems (drone detection, jamming, capture), as well as unmanned system testing and evaluation equipment, training simulators, etc. These exhibits collectively form a comprehensive display of the entire industry chain of unmanned systems from R&D and production to application, providing professional visitors with a one-stop platform for understanding and procuring unmanned system solutions.
