MECSPE, the International Exhibition for Manufacturing Industry in Bologna, Italy. A major event in European manufacturing – this exhibition attracted 66,573 visitors and gathered over 2,100 exhibitors, showcasing products across 13 themed exhibition areas. MECSPE has become not only a platform for communication among industry insiders and outsiders but also an important stage for displaying new technologies and promoting digital and ecological transformation. This event will guide Italian companies on domestic and international growth paths with a more global vision. At the exhibition, entrepreneurs will have an "immersive" experience of manufacturing through exhibition and demonstration routes that address the pillars of modern industry: innovation, training, and sustainability. This journey will drive visitors and exhibitors towards Industry 5.0 and human-centered industry. Over the years, MECSPE has become increasingly international, given Italy's role on the European and world stage and the attendance of buyers from various countries. According to ISTAT (Italian National Institute of Statistics), Italy, like Germany in Europe, has a manufacturing-based production system, with over one-third of the added value generated by industrial and service companies coming from manufacturing. Exports play a crucial role: over 50% of small enterprises, excluding micro-enterprises, are active in foreign markets, and this proportion exceeds 90% for medium and large enterprises. Germany, the United States, France, and Spain are Italy's main trading partners. MECSPE will focus on a new core exhibition, "Energy Transition and Sustainability in Manufacturing," specifically addressing issues particularly sensitive to the industry.
