INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE ON SECURITY, SAFETY AND PROTECTION TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR STRATEGIC FACILITIES, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS AND BUSINESS AND HOMES

The Philippines International Security, Safety and Protection Technology and Equipment Exhibition (PROTECT) is the only annual event in the Philippines where government and private sectors establish strategic partnerships in the field of security. Since its inception in 2005, the exhibition has been tasked with addressing increasingly severe security challenges. Its origins can be traced back to the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, collaborating with the Philippine Anti-Terrorism Council to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure. Given that most critical infrastructure is owned and operated by the private sector, the PROTECT exhibition is dedicated to building a communication bridge between the government and the private sector to jointly discuss and implement effective security and protection strategies. Over the years, the PROTECT exhibition has not only focused on traditional counter-terrorism issues but has also keenly observed and actively responded to evolving emerging threats, including global economic crises, natural disasters, pandemics, cyberattacks, disruptive technologies, data breaches, and rampant cybercrime. The exhibition brings together numerous high-ranking government officials, business leaders, security experts, and security stakeholders from various industries, providing them with an excellent platform to exchange ideas, share experiences, and expand networks. Through annual conferences and exhibitions, PROTECT promotes in-depth dialogue and cooperation among relevant government security officials, business leaders, and personnel responsible for corporate, community, and citizen security, jointly building a safer and more stable social environment. Its influence has surpassed the traditional scope of security, becoming an important barometer for the security sector in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

The exhibit range of the Philippines International Security, Safety and Protection Technology and Equipment Exhibition (PROTECT) is extensive, covering multiple core areas of security, fire protection, emergency management, and smart protection. In terms of security technology, the exhibition will showcase cutting-edge video surveillance systems, including high-definition cameras, intelligent analysis software, facial recognition technology, behavior recognition systems, and cloud storage solutions; access control systems, such as biometric access control (fingerprint, iris), IC card access control, smart locks, and visitor management systems; anti-theft alarm systems, including intrusion detectors, perimeter alarm systems, emergency call devices, etc.; and various physical security equipment, such as bulletproof glass, explosion-proof doors, safes, etc. In fire safety, exhibits will include various fire extinguishers, automatic sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, fire pumps, fire trucks, escape equipment, fireproof materials, and personal protective equipment such as fire suits. Emergency management and disaster protection technology are also major highlights of the exhibition, showcasing earthquake early warning systems, flood monitoring and early warning equipment, emergency communication systems, drone inspection technology, disaster relief equipment, and emergency shelter solutions. In addition, smart home and building automation security systems, cybersecurity solutions (such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, data encryption, antivirus software), industrial safety protection equipment (such as industrial monitoring, hazardous material storage cabinets, explosion-proof electrical appliances), personal protective equipment (such as bulletproof vests, helmets, protective eyewear, gloves), and professional services such as security consulting, risk assessment, and security services will also be featured. The exhibition aims to provide comprehensive security and protection technologies and solutions for strategic facilities, commercial buildings, enterprises, and homes, meeting the diverse needs of different users and jointly addressing evolving security challenges.
