KIMES

The Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES) in Seoul aims to promote foreign trade exchange and cooperation between Korea and the world, especially neighboring Asian countries, in the medical industry; and to provide a global stage for the Oriental medicine and medical equipment industries. Through exhibition exchanges and trade negotiations, it seeks to enhance global understanding of Oriental medicine and medical equipment industries, expand international development space, and provide more international trade opportunities. KIMES is jointly organized by the renowned Korea E & Ex Inc., the Korea Medical Devices Industry Association, and the Korea Medical Devices Industrial Cooperative Association, and is a professional exhibition certified by the UFI (Global Association of the Exhibition Industry). Since its inception in 1980, KIMES has seen its exhibition area double year after year, expanding to five exhibition halls. This exhibition plays an extremely important role in international medical clinic equipment, hospital equipment, and laboratory equipment in Korea. KIMES attracts nearly 1,200 companies from 38 countries, including local Korean exhibitors and those from Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan (China), USA, Switzerland, and more. This exhibition targets buyers, wholesalers, operators, and agents of medical equipment and home care products, as well as researchers, doctors, pharmacists, manufacturers, distributors, and import/export companies. The organizer also invites buyer delegations and important guests from various countries.
