Professor Adnan Badran, Deputy Director-General of UNESCO, served as its honorary chairman for over a decade. WREC is a UK company responsible for organizing conferences and workshops and publishing books, journals, and magazines in the field of renewable energy globally. Over 40 countries have hosted the congress, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Italy, the USA, the UAE, and Sweden. More than 80 countries have sent representatives to the congress.
