Due to insufficient local production capacity to meet the growing consumer demand, approximately 62% of the paper product demand in the Middle East market relies on imports. Furthermore, with the improvement of living standards and changes in consumer awareness among residents in the Middle East and North Africa, the demand for mid-to-high-end tissue paper, hand towels, wet wipes, diapers, and sanitary napkins is also increasing. At the same time, China's tissue paper products and processing equipment continue to be welcomed by emerging markets such as the Middle East. The Middle East has become one of the important export regions for China's tissue paper and hygiene products.
