The 5th International Conference and Summer School on Numerical Computations: Theory and Algorithms is dedicated to fostering a multidisciplinary discourse on numerical modeling by leveraging both traditional and emerging computational paradigms. This conference serves as a vital platform for researchers from diverse fields to engage in discussions that span from foundational and philosophical aspects to advanced numerical techniques. The event invites contributions that explore new computational paradigms and their implications for natural sciences, making it a unique opportunity for attendees to present their findings and exchange ideas with leading scientists. A particular focus will be placed on numerical optimization and the theoretical and practical challenges surrounding the use of infinities and infinitesimals in numerical computations.Organized by the Department of Computer Engineering, Modelling, Electronics and Systems Science in Italy, in collaboration with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) from the USA, this conference is set to take place in the picturesque setting of the All Inclusive Falkensteiner Club Funimation Garden Calabria resort, located along the Tyrrhenian coast in Calabria, Italy. The event will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and online participation. In addition to the main conference presentations, the Summer School will feature tutorials and discussion sessions that delve deeper into the conference topics. Participants are encouraged to submit regular papers or take part in a poster session, with English being the official language throughout both the conference and the summer school.
