活动介绍
The 2026 Annual Meeting of the International Society of Oral Oncology (ISOO) will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Organized by the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) and ISOO, this leading international, interdisciplinary event is dedicated to supportive cancer care. The theme for this year's meeting is 'Coordinated and Individualized Supportive Cancer Care', emphasizing the commitment to advancing care that is both evidence-based and patient-centered.The program will highlight three key areas: the first, 'Mind the Gap', focuses on maximizing access to supportive care for all, specifically addressing disparities for underserved communities, including people from rural areas, gender and sexually diverse populations, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, older adults, those of lower socioeconomic status, individuals from low- and middle-income countries, and First Nations Peoples. The second area, 'Lifestyle and Behavioral Support in Cancer Care', will explore how exercise, nutrition, integrative medicine, psychotherapy, and digital health technologies can enhance patient care during and after treatment. The third focus, 'Optimizing Toxicity Management of Novel Therapies', will concentrate on predicting, assessing, and managing toxicities associated with emerging cancer treatments. In addition to these focal points, the meeting will feature a diverse array of sessions led by MASCC/ISOO study groups, addressing the full spectrum of challenges faced by cancer patients during and after treatment. Attendees will have excellent opportunities for networking and collaboration, as well as the chance to present their research to a global audience. Moreover, social events will highlight Melbourne's vibrant food, arts, and sports scenes, ensuring that the meeting is both enriching and memorable. The sessions are tentatively scheduled from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, and the event will be hosted in-person only. Sponsorship options are available for industry partners who wish to support this vital event in the field of supportive cancer care.
