Math3ma研讨会

The Math3ma Symposium, held in Sun Valley, invites Christians engaged in the scientific and technological workforce to join a unique gathering aimed at fostering fellowship and encouragement in their professional lives. This fourth annual event, hosted at The Master’s University, seeks to connect believers from diverse fields such as graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, professors, research scientists, software engineers, data scientists, and medical professionals. Unlike traditional technical conferences, the Math3ma Symposium focuses on networking and spiritual enrichment rather than apologetics or technical discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue, share testimonies, and strengthen their commitment to living for God's glory in the workplace. The symposium features a variety of invited speakers and discussions, including presentations that address both scientific and ethical considerations in STEM fields. Notable speakers include Matt McLain, who will present on evolutionary claims about mammal origins, and a psychiatrist, who will discuss the intersection of psychiatric practices and biblical anthropology. Other speakers include an orthopaedic surgeon who will share insights on new technologies in shoulder medicine, and a professor who will cover topics on biblical theology and hermeneutics. Attendees can look forward to engaging sessions such as 'The Supremacy of Christ in Vocation' and 'God's Faithfulness in an Unlikely STEM Journey', along with a Q&A session on artificial intelligence and ministry. The event is designed to be inclusive and supportive, providing a platform for Christians in STEM to build relationships and explore their faith in a professional context. With a schedule that includes dinner, catered lunch, and light breakfast, the symposium encourages collaboration and community among participants. This gathering is not just about professional development, but also about spiritual growth, aiming to help attendees solidify their convictions and foster a deeper understanding of their roles as Christians in the scientific field.
