The Annual Meeting of Cheiron, the International Society for the History of Behavioral and Social Sciences, will take place virtually under the theme Cheiron without Borders. This meeting is scheduled for June 25th to June 27th, 2026, and is designed to address the increasing challenges related to safe border crossings and limited travel support from universities, making an online format the most accessible option for participants. Mike Pettit has been appointed as the program chair for this year's meeting.Cheiron invites submissions for a variety of formats, including papers, thematic symposia, panels, roundtables, workshops, and posters that explore different aspects of the history of human, behavioral, or social sciences, along with relevant historiographical and methodological discussions. Interested parties must ensure that their submissions are sent by February 13th, 2026, at 5 pm EST. Furthermore, the meeting is honored to feature Peter Hegarty from The Open University, who will present the prestigious 2026 Elizabeth Scarborough Lecture.
