展会简介
The Wireless Power Technology Conference and Expo is a premier event dedicated to the exploration of advancements in wireless power technologies. This year marks the 9th edition of the conference, hosted at the Dalhousie University Faculty of Engineering in Halifax, Canada. The event aims to gather professionals, researchers, and industry experts to share insights on a wide range of topics related to wireless power transfer and its applications. The conference features a call for industry and application papers, as well as a special session proposal. Topics of interest include far-field and radiative wireless power transfer, acoustic, optical, and solar transfer, and both static and dynamic wireless charging. Additionally, discussions will focus on simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT), materials and methods in wireless power, high-frequency power transmitters and rectifiers, and various power converter topologies. Other key areas include high-frequency coils, antennas, rectennas, backscattering technologies, RFIDs, and electronic tags.Experts will delve into the implications of electromagnetic fields (EMF), interference with medical devices (IMD), and biological effects, along with the role of machine learning in wireless power applications. The conference will also address application fields such as automotive and ground transportation systems, smart environments, precision agriculture, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Furthermore, participants will explore the techno-economics, policy, and societal impact of wireless power technologies.Notable speakers at the event include Nuno Carvalho, Alessandra Costanzo, Grant Covic, Simon Hemour, Jenshan Lin, Chris Mi, Paul Mitcheson, Chun T. Rim, Naoki Shinohara, and Don Tan Zhizhang (David) Chen from Dalhousie University, along with Olivier Trescases from the University of Toronto, Hamed Aly from Dalhousie University, Sheldon Williamson from Ontario Tech, and Fei Lu from Lehigh University, among others. This diverse lineup of experts will provide attendees with invaluable knowledge and insights into the rapidly evolving field of wireless power technology.
