展会简介

The 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, also known as SABASABA, is a premier annual event held at the Sabasaba International Trade Fair Grounds in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This significant trade fair is organized by the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade), a government institution dedicated to fostering global business partnerships through various initiatives including international trade fairs, exhibitions, and market research. TanTrade plays a pivotal role in providing trade information and consultancy services to producers, exporters, and importers, enabling them to engage effectively in the global marketplace.Over the years, the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair has established itself as the main showcase for Tanzanian products and those from the East, Central, and Southern African regions. The fair benefits from the strategic location of the Dar es Salaam harbor, serving as a crucial gateway for businesses looking to reach markets in neighboring countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and more. The fair has seen a remarkable increase in participation, showcasing over 3,500 local companies and 200 foreign exhibitors from 26 countries in its latest edition. This year marks a notable milestone as the fair celebrates its 50th edition, highlighting its significance in promoting trade, investment, and cooperation within the region.Exhibitors at the fair cover a wide range of sectors including agriculture, fishing, livestock products and technology, construction materials, information technology, medical devices, and natural medicine. The event is a key market platform for ministries, government institutions, local authorities, and various service providers, facilitating connections and exchanges among stakeholders. With an expected visitor count of 3,500, the fair is poised to continue its legacy as a vital forum for business exchange and trade promotion within Tanzania and beyond.
