Galiforest Abanca has established itself as the largest forest fair in Spain, evolving significantly since its inception. The event serves as a crucial meeting point for the forestry sector, showcasing the latest advancements and fostering business opportunities. In its eighth edition, Galiforest Abanca is set to continue its trend of growth, attracting a diverse range of participants and exhibitors. The fair has seen a remarkable increase in both quantitative results and qualitative outcomes, establishing new records in attendance and international participation. The event is not only recognized for its scope within Spain but is also acknowledged by the Ministry of Industry for its international status, aiming for full international accreditation by 2026.The fair will take place in an exceptional setting—the forest—providing a real working environment for professionals and companies throughout the forestry industry chain. The last edition, held in 2024, was the largest ever, featuring 9,612 professionals, which represents a 34% increase compared to the previous edition. Attendees came from various regions across Spain and Portugal, as well as countries such as Italy, France, Turkey, Austria, Finland, and Canada. With 107 direct exhibitors from 28 countries, the fair covered a net area of 16,306 square meters, surpassing the previous year's figures by 11%. The upcoming Galiforest Abanca in 2026 promises to be another landmark event, continuing to enhance its reputation as a premier platform for the forestry sector.
